Always remember to Sync and Save before running a Dynamo Script.
No matter how simple or complicated a Dynamo Script could be, you never know if you’ll running into an error or an infinite loop, and the next thing you know Revit crashes. Suddenly you’re scrambling to find a back-up to redo the hard work you lost. It’s the worst feeling, I know.
I had to learn the hard way spending many hours redoing work because I was inexperienced with Dynamo. There aren’t enough resources or notes to remind of you of these little things either. While Dynamo is currently way better than it’s earlier versions, the environment is still unstable at times. It’s best to be cautious when running any script.
