New Categories in Revit 2022

New categories in Revit 2022 are:

• Food Service Equipment.
• Medical Equipment.
• Fire Protection.
• Vertical Circulation.
• Audio Visual Devices.
• Signage.
• Hardscape.
• Temporary Structures.

This means if you’re managing a Revit Template in version 2021 or before, and you have specific categories turned off for certain view templates, then these categories will be on by default when you start projects in 2022 or after. This is rather annoying to keep up with especially if your templates depend on these categories turned off by default.
