The first time you open Revit, you will encounter this pop-up.
Here’s a recommendation, just click the “Don’t show this message again” and click OK. Problem solved.
What does it even mean? The pop-up is notifying you that you will be creating and opening a “local copy” of the central model. This is a normal procedure and you shouldn’t need to worry about it. It’s an essential procedure for Revit to work.
The local copy is the one you work in and your changes are synced back to the central model, which everyone has access to. Typically, staff should never need to open the central model. This is a BIM Manager’s or model manager’s job.
Hide the message and have peace of mind that you never need to worry about it again.
